Call to Artists: Wild & Scenic Film Festival
Nevada County Arts is delighted to be a sponsor of SYRCL’s 10th Annual Wild & Scenic® Film Festival, on January 2012 in Nevada City. Considered to be the largest film festival of its kind, the Wild & Scenic Film Festival is a wonderful arts asset for our county. In addition to fabulous films, the festival also includes opening receptions, art exhibitions, live music, a wine stroll, and many other events.
In collaboration with the Wild & Scenic Film Festival, Nevada County Arts will coordinate and select the works for the art exhibitions. We are seeking artists who will exhibit their work in various venues in downtown Nevada City during the festival. We are particularly looking for art that highlights our environment and draws attention to environmental issues.
