Two days after an Enbridge pipeline spilled more than three million litres of crude oil into a creek leading to the Kalamazoo River in southwest Michigan, Greenpeace activists occupy Enbridge’s office in downtown Vancouver. They demand that the oil giant withdraw its latest application for a pipeline that would bring more than 200 crude oil tankers annually to British Columbia’s west coast.
