The Patagonia Wild & Scenic Grant is a $1000 grant awarded to environmental groups. The grant offsets the purchase of the $1500 festival kit. In accepting the grant, the grantee understands they must follow certain grant guidelines: 1) Grantees understand that their Wild & Scenic On Tour event is a membership drive. 2) Grant recipients must establish membership strategies for the film festival offering both a membership incentive and a way to collect contact information from everyone at the event. 3) Grantees agree to outreach into their community to bring together a diverse audience in an effort to find new members. Grant recipients will be asked to complete a grant report within two weeks of hosting a tour venue, detailing how they met the grant guidelines. The grant is intended to help grassroots groups increase their network of support. As we inspire more activists, we increase the groundswell for the environmental movement.
