GRAB A BITE TO EAT & A CUP OF COFFEE
We’re thrilled to partner this year with our local food co-op, BriarPatch Market. They will be serving concessions in the following venues: Miners Foundry, Vets Hall, Nevada Theatre, Oddfellows, and NC Elementary.
BriarPatch will be offering bottled juices, breakfast muffins and scones, homemade soups and pasties, cookies and bars, fruit, and coffee. Soup and pasties are made with ingredients from local farmers. All coffee is from the festival coffee sponsor, Thanksgiving Coffee (with help from Six Degrees Coffee & Distribution).
Please help support BriarPatch by grabbing a bite to eat at the festival. You can purchase advanced tickets for the pasties (save $$!) when you buy your advance festival tickets.
Enjoy a Beer or Glass of Wine
Thank you to our sponsors, Nevada City Winery and Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. We will be featuring their superb libations at the bar at the Miners Foundry. It will be open Friday and Saturday evenings. Our wine sponsor, Nevada City Winery is also our host for the Gala Event on Saturday late night. Sierra Nevada Beer will be featured on the Nevada City's Chamber of Commerce's Wine Stroll on Saturday afternoon at the A.P.P.L.E. Center.
ECO TOUR
Take a special tour of Nevada City’s co-housing project (photo below) with architect Katie McCamant on Sunday, 10am. Meet in front of the Nevada Theatre.
FILM SALES
Be sure to check out the Film Sales area in the Miners Foundry. Many of the films from this year’s festival will be on sale. Film Sales will close early on Sunday afternoon, so buy early.
SATURDAY MORNING CARTOONS
Kids of all ages are invited to attend the Saturday Morning Cartoons session on Saturday, 9:30am-noon, in the Nevada Theatre (doors open at 9am). Tickets are only $5 for adults or children, and will be sold (if available) at the box office at the theater (cash only, please). You can also use your Weekend Pass or Saturday Morn/Aft ticket. Space is always limited at this session, so priority is given to children and their accompanying adults.
FESTIVAL T-SHIRTS
You won’t want to go home without purchasing an official festival t-shirt. Check them out at Fest HQ and at the SYRCL booth at the Miners Foundry. A Note about Fest ‘Stuff’: We’re not into it. That’s why we don’t sell a lot of it. But you can buy our very limited edition tees and help spread the word about Wild & Scenic.
SYRCL’s FILM FEST LIBRARY
Many of the films from the festival will be available for rent at the SYRCL office, 216 Main St., Nevada City. Our Film Festival Library boasts titles from most our previous festivals.
