SYRCL launches “A Climate of Change” program for the Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour

February 21, 2013

In partnership with, 350.org and the TRUST Campaign we are thrilled to offer a special film program focused on climate change. We are inviting colleges, high schools, and non-profits to bring the Climate of Change film program to their communities and raise awareness about the environmental challenges we face, spark action, and support solutions.

The Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour provides organizations with a turnkey event which includes all the films, promotional materials, a thorough event Tool-Kit, and support from the On Tour staff.  The thirteen Climate of Change films feature people from around the world, of all ages, and from all walks of life who are asking important questions and finding inspiring new ways to approach climate problems. The program includes a Climate Action Handbook, too, that offers concrete “take action” solutions from non-profit and activist groups across the country.

SYRCL is pleased to announce that several grants are available for college or university organizations who host A Climate of Change event and partner with a local environmental group. These grants are made possible by support from Patagonia and is a direct way for them to increase awareness of environmental issues using a creative and progressive tool—films!
