The Wild & Scenic Film Festival on Tour comes to the Bay Area!
SYRCL’s Wild & Scenic Film Festival on Tour will be screening in the Bay Area on Thursday, October 20th, at the Clif Bar headquarters, 1451 66th Street, Emeryville. This event is being hosted by the California Wilderness Coalition. The theme for the festival is, the many different faces and voices of conservation. Each film tells a story of conservation through a different lens, including a conservation photographer, hiker-activist, outdoor athlete, youth and communities of color. The wide cast of conservationists are reflective of the California Wilderness Coalition’s ability to coalesce a diversity of communities. For information on the films and ticketing go to http://www.calwild.org/

World-class thru-hiker, Adam Bradley, hikes 500 miles of a proposed transmission line to help the Nevada Wilderness Project find out how our country's transition to renewable energy will affect the land, wildlife and people.
