Tickets On Sale Now for SYRCL’s 9th Annual Wild & Scenic® Film Festival

It’s hard to believe that SYRCL’s 9th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival is just one month away.  The films have been selected, the filmmakers and other special guests confirmed, the parties have been planned and now we are just waiting for you to join us for an incredible weekend of film, adventure and activism, January 14-16, 2011, in downtown Nevada City, CA.

We recommend buying your festival tickets IN ADVANCE as some events sell out.  You can purchase tickets online or in person.  Might we add that these make excellent gifts for those “progressive and sophisticated film and outdoor enthusiasts committed to living a more sustainable lifestyle” in your life.

Before You Purchase Tickets

• Download the 2011 Festival Schedule at a Glance. You can decide what passes you want by viewing the schedule. View film descriptions on the Film Schedule Pages. Since the schedule is subject to change, we highly recommend buying the Festival Weekend Pass, as it allows entry into all films and workshops, any day, anytime…all weekend long. Special event tickets can be purchased separately.
• Be sure to check out all the Special Events. Most are free, but some require an extra ticket and it is best to purchase these in advance of the weekend. Please note that tickets for the Wine Stroll will only be available during the festival weekend at Fest HQ.
• Children’s tickets are for 16 and younger.
• PLEASE NOTE: Your festival ticket guarantees you a seat at one of the film venues during any session, BUT WE CANNOT GUARANTEE a seat in the theater of your choice. We highly recommend that if you would like to see a particular film, please plan on arriving early at the theatre it’s showing at, and most definitely before the start of that session of films. After You Purchase Tickets Online

• Please print out your email receipt! This is your proof of purchase and needs to be brought to Will Call to pick up your tickets. WE WILL NOT MAIL YOUR TICKETS.
• You can return to our online store to purchase more tickets up until January 13, 4pm. After that all ticket sales will be at fest HQ only beginning Friday, January 14. See location and hours below.

Will Call Pickup & Ticket Purchases During Fest Weekend

Will Call tickets will ONLY be available for pick up beginning January 14 at Fest HQ. Hours are as follows:

• Friday, January, 14: 10:00am – 9:00pm
• Saturday, January 15: 8:30am – 9:00pm
• Sunday, January 16: 8:45am – 4:00pm

• Sunday, December 19: 1:30 – 6:00pm

JANUARY:
(NEW LOCATION) Peace Center of Nevada County
Right across the hall from the SYRCL Office at 216B Main Street, downtown Nevada City

• January 3 – 14, Monday – Friday, Noon – 4:00pm
