Wild & Scenic Media Lounge Hosted by See Jane Do Returns for Second Year
The Media Lounge was all a-buzz in 2010 with actor Sir Patrick Stewart and filmmaker Seth Warren.
Back by popular demand is the Wild & Scenic Media Lounge hosted by See Jane Do, a multi-media program on award-winning community radio station KVMR 89.5FM. The Media Lounge is THE place for up-to-date information, photos, videos, and exclusive interviews with guest filmmakers, activists, and festival goers are all invited to enjoy free wi-fi and a comfortable setting to meet, connect, and network, plus check email, write a quick blog, upload photos, update Facebook status and Tweet. The Media Lounge is your haven for multi-media viewing and resources. Also stop by to view the “Extraordinary Jane” exhibit of “Everyday Women Doing Extraordinary Things for the Planet”. This exhibit features blogger Beth Terry of My Plastic-Free Life; author, shrimp fisher, environmentalist, and activist Diane Wilson; Melinda Kramer the founder and co-director of Women’s Earth Alliance; former Nevada City Mayor and the first woman to cross Alaska solo Reinette Senum; and many other “Janes”.
