SYRCL’s Wild & Scenic Film Festival inspires environmental activism and a love for nature–through film. The festival is back in a hybrid form taking place in-person January 13-17, 2022, and virtually January 13-23 – complete with films, workshops, panels, art exhibition, Q&A sessions, talks, chats, and more! The in-person festival will be a bit smaller than in years past with venues at Center of the Arts, Del Oro, Miners Foundry, and Nevada Theater.
Although our in-person festival will be different this year, we are still in need of our wonderful festival volunteers. We are excited to launch our volunteer recruitment on December 3rd where we will be looking for several hundred volunteers to make this festival happen. Volunteer roles include ushers, ticket takers, tech crew, setup and breakdown crew, hospitality, and more. Volunteers receive a free virtual session ticket for each shift volunteered.
All volunteers must show proof of vaccination to work their shifts as well as wear an approved mask for the duration of their shift. Vaccinated volunteers must present a valid vaccination card, a photo or photocopy of your card, or a digital vaccine record (e.g., my vaccine record.cdph.ca.gov) with a matching valid photo ID. The Clear mobile app is also acceptable with a photo ID. We recommend keeping a photo of your card and your photo ID on your phone for easy access at all times. Acceptable forms of ID for minors are a student ID or library card.
CHECK BACK HERE BEGINNING DECEMBER 3RD FOR VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES.
