Film submissions for the 16th annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival will close on September 24th. Don’t miss your opportunity to be considered for the largest environmental film festival of its kind! This year’s theme is Groundswell – so we are particularly interested in films the showcase a strong activism message. It is time to showcase the brave folks fighting for our planet every day, through their innovation, education, grassroots organizing, and inspiring activism. While we will be seeking films that fit our theme, we also accept a wide range of environmental and adventure films.
Then click on the button below to submit your film and be considered for the 2018 Wild & Scenic Film Festival, occurring January 11-15, 2018.
Spread the Word
With an audience of 7,500 at our January festival, over 5,000 e-newsletter subscribers, and thousands of social media followers, not to mention our Tour which reaches over 45,000 people annually, your film will have a huge platform to be seen and be engaged with. Bring visibility to your cause, raise awareness surrounding the issues that matter to you, and spread your message beyond the choir.
Increased Exposure and Networking Opportunities
Wild & Scenic Film Festival draws in well-known, environmentally responsible corporations and businesses, local and regional sponsors, distributors, celebrities, press and news outlets, local activists, nonprofit organizations, filmmakers, and artists from all over the world. Your film will be exposed to these audiences, and attending filmmakers have tremendous opportunities to network with other activists and filmmakers, often inspiring new projects and collaborations.
